There are many old original books in my collection. I even have a few old Afghan editions which are quite a good fit in my collection. I get regular emails from Afghans as well as Iranians about these books so I am well aware of the number of fans Mr. Ghazi Saeed has had in Afghanistan. Also Mr. Ghazi Saeed wrote two books while living in USA (after the revolution) and I've got those two as well, bearing his personal autographs. But in addition to that, 18 of Mr. Ghazi Saeed's books have been re-edited (reworded and censored as well) and openly re-published under the Islamic Regime. Those books are not 100% identical to the originals...neither in look nor in content, but they are not considered fake neither. I am glad to say that BOTH the original as well as the new editions of all these 18 books are in my collection. If you are ever in doubt whether or not a copy of a Ghazi Saeed book you are holding in your hands is new or old, feel free to ask me.
Some of Mr. Ghazi Saeed writings never made it to becoming a book. They only existed in form of continous stories published in weekly magazines; the same way in fact that all of his stories had always been initially published. Some die-hard Ghazi Saeed fans & collectors have since got a hold on those old magazines and recollected and reprinted those extremely rare stories in book formats (Thanks guys!). The original old copies of these books do not exist, only the newly printed copies do, so do not think they are fake when you see them on sale on some site...if you a are a collector of Ghazi Saeed books then you need to have these paperback reprinted books in your portfolio... or at least a digital version of.
